ELLI Privacy Policy

Elliverse Inc., doing business as ELLI ("ELLI," "we," "us"), is a Delaware corporation based in Texas. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website at elliverse.ai, the ELLI mobile app, and our related services (together, the "Services"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number, and mailing or property address.
  • Account and profile details: login details, preferences, the homes you save, search criteria, and anything you add to your home profile.
  • Membership and business details: if you are a vendor, real estate agent, or brokerage, we collect your business name, license or service details, service areas, and membership choices.
  • Messages: what you send us or send through the Services, including requests to vendors or agents, reviews, and conversations with ELLI's AI assistant.
  • Referral details: referral codes you use or share, and who referred you.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card or bank details go directly to Stripe and are not stored by ELLI. We receive limited details such as the payment amount, date, status, and the last four digits of the card.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage details: browser and device type, IP address, approximate location (city or region), pages and screens viewed, links clicked, and the times and dates of visits.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: small files that help the website work, remember your preferences, and measure traffic. See Section 5.

Information from others

  • Property listing data from multiple listing services (MLS) and their licensed data providers.
  • Information from agents, vendors, or members who refer you to ELLI.
  • Information from service providers that help us run the Services, such as our website host, payment processor, and email provider.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, run, and improve the Services, including home search, the vendor marketplace, memberships, and concierge requests.
  • Connect you with the vendors, agents, or brokerages you choose to contact.
  • Run our referral and rewards programs, including tracking referrals, cashback, and ELLI Dollars.
  • Process payments, memberships, and renewals.
  • Send service messages, such as receipts, account notices, and replies to your requests.
  • Send news, updates, and marketing when you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time (see Section 6).
  • Understand how the Services are used, so we can fix problems and make them better.
  • Keep the Services safe, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations.

AI features. ELLI includes AI-powered features, such as the ELLI assistant. The content you share with these features is used to answer your request and improve your experience. It may be processed by our AI service providers, which act on our behalf and are not allowed to use it to sell to you.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only:

  • With vendors, agents, or brokerages you ask us to connect you with, so they can respond to you.
  • With service providers that work for us under contract. These include hosting and website services (Squarespace, Cloudflare), payments (Stripe), email and text messaging (for example Brevo and Twilio), analytics (Google Analytics), accounting (QuickBooks), and AI processing. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • For referral and rewards tracking, limited to what is needed. For example, a member may see that someone they referred joined; they will not see that person's private details.
  • For legal reasons, to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and property of ELLI, our users, or others.
  • In a business transfer, such as a merger, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
  • With your consent.

Text messages: mobile phone numbers and text-messaging consent are never shared or sold to third parties for their own marketing.

4. Property listing data

Listing information comes from MLS sources and is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. It is believed to be reliable but is not guaranteed. Always verify details with a licensed real estate professional.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the website working, remember preferences, and measure traffic.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use elliverse.ai. Google Analytics collects information such as pages visited, time on site, approximate location, and how you arrived at our site. Google's use of this information is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the website may not work properly without them. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law.

6. Your choices

  • Emails: use the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email, or email admin@elliverse.ai. We will still send account and transaction messages.
  • Text messages: reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
  • Account details: you can update most profile details in your account, or ask us to.
  • Push notifications and location: you can turn these off in your device settings.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including Texas, California, and other states with privacy laws, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we have about you and get a copy;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information;
  • opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, or certain profiling (ELLI does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising);
  • appeal a decision we make about your request.

To make a request, email admin@elliverse.ai with the subject "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity before acting and will respond within the time required by law, generally 45 days. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. If you are a Texas resident and we deny your appeal, you may contact the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov.

8. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. Examples include encryption, restricted access, and connecting to outside accounts with read-only access wherever possible. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the Services, and as required for legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

10. Children

The Services are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Where information is processed

ELLI is based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. If the changes are significant, we will give additional notice, such as by email or in the app.
